Saluki Regicide is one of the several recording projects of C.P. McDill (other projects include Djinnestan, Akashic Crow's Nest, Rowboat Magicians, Tree Helicopter, Ice Guild Kaiser and Drone Wallah). Since its origins in early 2003, Saluki Regicide has forged its own way in the field of experimental music, producing a respectable body of work that has received moderate acclaim and a growing audience. Saluki was formed in 1976 in Oslo, Norway. Their style was jazz rock with Brass sections and some funky guitar bass lines. They released only one self titled album in 1976. They then disbanded after the release of this album. Also a bootleg entitled "Be Here Now" also exists which was apparently released around 1977. The Guitarist/Vocalist Freddy Dahl was better known as a member of Junipher Greene and also Sverre Beyer was also a member of junipher Greene as from 1974 onwards.
