Saluki Regicide is one of the several recording projects of C.P. McDill (other projects include Djinnestan, Akashic Crow's Nest, Rowboat Magicians, Tree Helicopter, Ice Guild Kaiser and Drone Wallah).
Since its origins in early 2003, Saluki Regicide has forged its own way in the field of experimental music, producing a respectable body of work that has received moderate acclaim and a growing audience.
The sound of Saluki Regicide is not easy to categorize. Experimental, ambient, psychedelic, electronic, acoustic and sampled elements are all woven together and processed to create a consistent but ever-varied flavor.
The atmosphere of the work is at times both nostalgic and nightmarish, menacing yet playful, and at all times surprisingly accessible.
