The Suicide Machines were a band formed in 1991 in Detroit, Michigan under the original name Jack Kevorkian and the Suicide Machines. The band's original lineup consisted of Jason Navarro on vocals, Dan Lukacinsky on guitar, Jason Brake on bass, and Stefan Rairigh on drums. This lineup lasted a year until Bill Jennings replaced Rairigh, but he was himself soon replaced by Derek Grant. They recorded the band's first demos The Essential Kevorkian and Green World in 1993 and 1994, both released through their own label Sluggo's Old Skool Records. THE BLANK TAPES is the moniker of Los Angeles & San Francisco based musician & artist, Matt Adams, who has produced over 10 albums of 1960's psychedelic-surf-pop-folk-rock on an old 8 track cassette tape recorder in various garages, basements, sheds & bedrooms across the California Coast. The Weather Machines was the songwriting/recording vehicle of Jason Ward that was active in Rapid City, SD and Portland, OR from 2004-2010. Live and studio contributors included Sam Phillips, Oliver Francis, Tom Miller, Ali DeMersseman, Miyo One Arrow, J. Waylon Miller, Patrick Fleming and Luke Mickelson. The Weather Machines released their self-produced debut CD, The Sound of Pseudoscience in 2006 on their own Tigers Against Crime imprint. A 5-song follow-up EP entitled Bones & Brains was released in 2008. .
