Debutaram no dia 10 de Maio de 2012 no M! Countdown, com a title-track Venus , do miniálbum de mesmo nome. O Hello Venus (헬로비너스) nasceu da aliança entre a Pledis Entertainment e a Fantagio. Mas em 2014 essa aliança foi desfeita e Ara (아라) e Yoonjo (윤조) deixaram o grupo, permanecendo na Pledis Entertainment, sendo substituídas por Seoyoung (서영) e Yeoreum (여름), enquanto as outras integrantes continuaram agenciadas pela Fantagio....
