O Octopus foi um grupo inglês formado na metade da década de 1960 (primeiramente com o nome de The Cortinas) e chegou a lançar um álbum muito interessante, chamado Restless Night, em 1970. O disco foi produzido por Tony Murray, músico do The Troggs que, aliás, foi quem descobriu o Octopus.
