Snakehips are a British electronic music duo. The line-up consists of Oliver Lee and James Carter. Snakehips made their name with Hype Machine doing remixes for Banks, The Weeknd, Bondax and Wild Belle. They are best known for their 2015 single, "All My Friends". Whipster is a band from Groningen, a city in the northern part of the Netherlands. After several years trying to find the right musical direction, Peter van der Heide (guitar, vocals), Henk Drent (bass) and Marinus de Lange (drums) recorded their debut with producer Jan Heddema. The album, Strange, was released in 2002 by My First Sonny Weissmuller Recordings, distribution Konkurrent. Strange got very got reviews and was was praised by journalists. Interested in exploring experimental music, Chad focused on creating beautiful and thoughtful music without the sometimes distracting presence of lyrical and vocal content.
