ドラゴンフォース（DragonForce）は、イギリスのメロディックスピードメタルバンドである。 リーダーは香港生まれのHerman Li(李康敏)で、イギリスが拠点でもメンバーの出身は多国籍に及ぶ。 パワーメタル（メロディックスピードメタル）の代表的なバンドのひとつである。音楽性において特筆すべき事として、誰も到達したことのないエクストリームな音数とスピードで現代のメタルシーン随一のスピード・スターと称されている。ブラストビートを織り交ぜたスラッシュメタルやデスメタルのような速度で演奏されるドラムに、パワーメタルの特徴である叙情的なメロディを乗せるというスタイルは、これまでなかったものである。転調を繰り返しながらギアを上げて突き進むスタイルはこのバンドならではである。 結成当初はDragonHeartというバンド名でデモテープも制作していたが、既に同名のバンドおよび映画が存在していたため、2001年に現在のDragonForceに改名して、1stアルバム『Valley of the Damned』をNoise Recordsからリリースしてデビューを飾る。当時から、1曲のバラードを除いて他全曲が長大なギターソロを伴った平均6分以上の高速曲であり、早速その楽曲のスピード感を見せつけていた。元Bal-SagothのDave Mackintoshが加入して制作された2ndアルバム『Sonic Firestorm』ではブラストビートも導入され、楽曲もさらに長尺化した。3rdアルバム『Inhuman Rampage』では、製作の中で「メジャーキーを使わずに作曲をする。」という自虐的かつ前例がないと思われる制約を課したが、当時加入したベーシストのFrédéric Leclercqは「マイナーコードだけで作曲された訳ではないということは明確」とコメントしていた。キャリア上音数とスピード、楽曲の尺がピークに達したこのアルバムは高セールスを記録し、全英70位、アメリカでも103位、35万枚のセールスを記録した。かねてからHerman Liにより“減速宣言”がされていたように、4thアルバム『Ultra Beatdown』ではそれまで疾走一辺倒だった楽曲の幅は大きく広がり、全英18位、全米18位、オリコン9位と世界中のチャートでキャリア史上最高を記録した。ここで長年フロントマンを務めてきたZP Theartが脱退、Marc Hudsonが後任として加入。ライブ演奏はそれまで半音下げだったが、彼の加入により原曲キーで演奏するようになる。続く、5thアルバム『The Power Within』ではギターソロは大幅に短縮され、1曲平均4～5分と曲展開もシンプルに変化し、その後も踏襲されている。 楽曲の多くは、ギタリストのSam Totmanが中心となり、Vadim Pruzhanov、Herman Li、Frédéric Leclercqがクレジットに名を連ねている。ライブではドラムを除いた全員がステージ上を所狭しと走り回り、飛び回るなど激しいパフォーマンスを行う。 Current members (リーダーはHerman Li) Marc Hudson – lead vocals (2011–present) Herman Li(李康敏) – guitar, backing vocals (1999–present) Sam Totman(Ian Samuel Totman) – guitar, backing vocals (1999–present) Frédéric Leclercq – bass, backing vocals (2006–present) Vadim Pruzhanov – keyboard, keytar, synthesizer, theremin, backing vocals (2001–present) Gee Anzalone – drums (2014–present) .

Hillsong United is an Australian worship band. They started as the youth ministry band from Hillsong Church in Australia. Their music is praise and worship with a contemporary style that is a mix of contemporary Christian music and mainstream rock. Rising Force was the name of Yngwie Malmsteen's band in Sweden before he came to America. The members were: Yngwie (guitars), Marcel Jacob(bass; he later was on Yngwie's albums Marching Out and Inspiration), and Zepp Urgard(drums.) Back then, metal vocalists in Sweden were rare, so Yngwie and Marcel handled the vocal duties. They recorded one demo with this lineup in 1980 at Thunderload Studios.
