スイサイダル・テンデンシーズ (Suicidal Tendencies) はアメリカ・カリフォルニア州出身のクロスオーバー・スラッシュ/ハードコア・パンクバンド。初期はスケートパンク、西海岸ハードコアの代表的なバンドで、1980年代後半以降はスラッシュメタルやファンクの影響を取り入れ、クロスオーバームーヴメントの立役者になった。
1982年、カリフォルニア州ヴェニスでマイク・ミューアを中心に結成された。1983年にFrontier Recordsより1st『Suicidal Tendencies』をリリースするが、過激な歌詞、カリフォルニアのローカルギャングのようなファッション、そして自殺を示唆するバンド名が問題となり、1983年から1991年までの間、バンドはロサンジェルスでのライヴパフォーマンスを禁止された。
1987年にリリースされた2nd『Join The Army』では、新たに加入したギタリストロッキー・ジョージの影響もあり、スラッシュメタル寄りのアプローチを見せるようになる。地元のスラッシュメタルバンド、ノー・マーシー(No Marcy)のギタリストだったマイク・クラークをリズムギターに入れて製作された3rd『How Will I Laugh Tomorrow...』ではさらにメタル色が強くなる。ベースにロバート・トゥルージロが加入したこともあり、続く4th『Lights...Camera...Revolution!』、5th『Arts Of Rebellion』では、さらにファンク色をバンドサウンドに取り入れている。セールス的な意味合いではこの時期がバンドの絶頂期に当たり、1991年にはメガデス、テスタメント、スレイヤーと共にClash Of The Titansツアーに参加している。
1991年より、マイク・ミューアはベーシストのロバート・トゥルージロと共にインフェクシャス・グルーブスを始める。スイサイダル・テンデンシーズ本体としては、1st&2ndの再録盤『Still Cyco After All These Years』を、1994年には6th『Suicidal For Life』をリリースする。しかし、『Suicidal For Life』のセールスは芳しくなく、エピック・レコードとの契約を切られたバンドは、ツアー後の1995年に解散する。
マイク・ミューアは1996年にCyco Mikoの名義でソロ活動を開始し、1997年にはスイサイダル・テンデンシーズの活動を再開する。その後1999年には『Freedumb』、2000年には『Free Your Soul And Save My Mind』を、マイク・ミューアのレーベルSuicidal Recordsよりリリース。
2012年時点での最新作は初期作品を再録した『No Mercy Fool!/The Suicidal Family』（2010年発表）。2012年4月には来日公演を行った。
Z-BOYSのオリジナルメンバーだったJim Muir（ジム・ミューア）とマイクは兄弟である。 .
GARY Suicidal Kids Commando formed in 2000 in Pau, France. They play "intense, personal, epic and drifting" high-grade hardcore. They are influenced by the European indie and hardcore punk scenes (with bands such as Breach, Systral, Ananda) as well as artists such as Led Zeppelin or King Crimson, and other 70's psychedelic rock artists. Although the band has seen line-up changes, the current members are Alain Brunet on Bass, Bruno Lores on drums, Yoan Puisségur on guitar and screaming, Renaud Belloli also on guitar and screaming, Damien Patry on Tenor Saxophone, Stephan Coté on Vocals and Gerome Hurtebis on Vocals...
1992: SUICIDAL WINDS as a band name and concept is born through Peter and Mathias former band KRISTOS MORTIS. 1994: The reh/demo "The Road To..." is spread in rather small extent due to the extremely primitive nature of this tape. 1996: A new reh/demo called "Massacre" is recorded. Introducing the new bassist Andreas Ström.
It includes six own songs and two HELLHAMMER covers. 1997: Third demo "Aggression" is recorded with new drummer Martin Hogebrandt. It consists of five songs, one of them a cover of SEPULTURA’s classic "Antichrist". Fourth demo "Definitely War" is also recorded but isn’t released until May...
a eight member australian horrorcore/porno rap band led by Swift Treweeke (aka Passenger Of Shit) under his MC Bushpig alias. Other members included Blue Pony (under her MC Slurry alias) Toecutter (under the name of DJ Anal Erection) and Virya Dadura Vamana (who went under the name of MC Skatboner). The band are often known for their disgusting liveshows in which they wind up naked and horribly grotesque lyrics that are in a similar vein to GWAR and GG Allin. .
Destructive Tendencies are a triple act from the UK who can turn their hand to any style within the Hardcore genre. Ever since they formed in 2010 they had one goal - break into the European Hardcore scene.
Early releases like 'Make It Harder' and 'La La La' they released on their own record label 'Quarantined Recordings Black' as well as an early version of their now well known hit 'Taken From Me' - which was picked up by Kutski and played by him on his BBC Radio 1 show... this was actually their first career break!
