Matchbox is a British rock and roll band formed in 1971 and still active as of 2016. Since 1978, the lineup consists of Graham Fenton (lead vocalist), Steve Bloomfield (lead guitar, vocals) (ex The Count Four), Gordon Scott (rhythm guitar) (ex The Rocking Phenmonia, The Cruisers), Fred Poke (bass) (ex Contraband), and Jimmy Redhead (drums) (ex The Cruisers, Contraband). paris match (パリス・マッチ) is a Japanese pop-jazz band, consisting of Mari Mizuno (vocals) and Yosuke Sugiyama (music). Their name is based on a track from an Album by The Style Council, Café Bleu. The band was formed in 1998 by Tai Furusawa and Yosuke Sugiyama. Both had already experiences in the music business - Furusawa as a DJ and composer and he organized club events; Sugiyama was an experienced producer, arranger and remixer. Cage the Elephant is an American rock band from Bowling Green, Kentucky where they were originally known as "Perfect Confusion." Their single "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" reached number 32 on the UK Singles Chart and was recently featured in the Gearbox Software video game Borderlands.[1] The band signed with EMI Records after showcasing at the 2007 South by Southwest music festival, and then moved to East London, England.[2] They released their eponymous debut album, Cage the Elephant, on 23 June 2008.
