La carriera dei Stairway è iniziata dopo essere stato influenzato dal periodo NWOBHM. Il CD di debutto, 'No Rest: No Mercy' prodotto da Paul Hodson (Hard Rain/Bob Catley), ha aumentato la popolarità internazionale della band. La band ha continuato a lavorare dal vivo, e in modo indipendente è uscito nel 1999 'Bleeding Heart' il secondo album.
Il terzo album 'On Hallowed Ground' è stato rilasciato nel 2002. Facendo seguito a questo successo, Stairway parteciparonò a un concorso di band AOR, Dreamzones.com, dove hanno vinto con il 38% dei voti! Ciò ha fatto seguito a 'Under the Gun' una compilation rilasciata...
Eléonore and Enguérand Fernese are siblings. They build one of the most devastating electro sound. Students to the Academy from 7 years (violin and cello), they quickly appreciate to play in duet at home. They gradually have fun to complete their practice of instruments by learning the electric guitar and the bass near the age of 11 years. Because they want to record their tracks and program various instruments, in order to create their own musical experimentations, they begin their practice of the computer-generated music at the age of 13 years.
