El Canto del Loco ("The Song of the Madman" in English, sometimes abbreviated to ECDL) was a Spanish pop rock band, although its members recognize that some of their songs are more in the style of power pop. Locomia was a Spanish (Ibiza) pop group popular in the 1980s and 1990s. They combined elements of tropical with British music of the New Wave and New Romantics. Their first hit was the epynonomous "Locomia." The original members were Javier Font, Manuel Arjona, Gard Paschieer, and Luis Font.
