Jimmy Eat World est un groupe de rock alternatif/emo Americain originaire de Mesa (Arizona), formé en 1993. Le chanteur/guitariste Jim Adkins et le batteur Zach Lind, amis depuis le jardin d'enfants, ont rejoint le guitariste Tom Linton et le bassiste Mitch Porter pour s'essayer à la musique.
