Paint It Black is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based modern hardcore punk band. Their music is often described as melodic hardcore, characterized by fast tempos, catchy melodies and emotionally charged vocals delivered via shouting and singing. They currently have released three full-length albums, CVA, Paradise, and New Lexicon, all of which have been on Jade Tree Records. .

THOUGHTS PAINT THE SKY was formed in early 2005 in Essen, Germany by Daniel (acoustic guitar/vocals/screams/studio drums), Irina (bass) & Stefan (acoustic guitar/screams). They split up 28.09.2012.
The EP "... and the colour is your choice" and the first album "s/t" was released in 2005/2006.
Clemens (drums) completed the line-up in 2006.
