ROFO - Flashlight (B-Side Version) | de

Victor Villarreal ( of Cap'n Jazz, Ghosts and Vodka, Owls and Noyes fame), Brian Jamieson, Jason Siemeaszko, Kevin Foote and Mike Slome comprised Flashlight, a Chicago, USA band which recorded one album (Poetry Class '96) in 1996. Flashlight threads were formerly the official troll threads of the Joanfrc Forum, until a noble fellow, known only as bytortbgq, rescued the forum-goers from the darkness of insatiable completism. .

There are five groups called Profound: 1. A hardcore band from the late 80's of which the members later formed Manliftingbanner and Deadstoolpigeon. 2. A dutch gabber act from the 90's. Better known as Na-Goyah these days. In the mid 90's (1996/1997) he produced two EP's. One EP on 'Rave Tracks' and the other on 'Coolman Specials'. 3. Austrian Melodic Death Metal band. Debut album 'Frozen Mankind' was released in 2004. 4. An Amsterdam based heavy rock band which formed in 2001. 5. A California-based emcee whose debut EP "Don't Even Ask" was released in 2010 .

Rofo consisted of Ronny (ro) Verrept and Fonny (fo) de Wulf from Belgium. Fonny played the instrumental parts, Ronny was more the arranger. Vocals were provided by different vocalists. When their 'Flashlight On A Disconight' was used as the theme song at the Midem '83 in Cannes, Rofo gained worldwide success. Fonny continued Rofo on his own and kept having success with eg. 'You've got to move it on' and 'I want you' (with the very recognisable vocals of John Sauli). .
