As the lead singer and co-songwriter of Highwater Rising, Aidan has written songs that have been featured in several feature films as well as virtually every major hit TV show including: THE OC, SEX and the CITY, NORTH SHORE, BOSTON PUBLIC, LAGUNA BEACH and ONE TREE HILL.
The band's second album, The In Between, was co-produced by multi-platinum producer Eric Valentine (Smash Mouth, Queens of the Stone Age, Persephone's Bees). With 9 of its 10 tracks licensed, the album is one of the most licensed independent albums of all time.

Light of Aidan came into being when two writers and producers both with a passion for music, in particular chill-out/ambient music, got together to inspire each other and to to try and create a fresh innovative sound. The result is three tracks signed to Chill-out label "Cafe Del Mar" and collaborations with some of the finest singers around. Light of Aidan continue to make music together and separately whenever needs must.

Aidan Baker (* 1974 in Toronto) ist ein kanadischer Multiinstrumentalist, Experimentalmusiker und Autor.
Nach einem Studium der Literatur- und Religionswissenschaft an der McGill University in Montréal und dem anschließenden Besuch der Humber College School for Writers in Toronto, veröffentlichte Aidan Baker sowohl Prosa, als auch Poesie und Illustrationen in verschiedenen Verlagen. Auch in diese Zeit fällt der Beginn seines musikalisches Schaffens - zunächst als Solomusiker - welches sich fortan vor allem durch einen sehr flexiblen und experimentierfreudigen Stil auszeichnen sollte, der sich einer Einordnung in klar abgrenzbare Musikgenres versperrt.
