Paradise Lost ist eine ursprünglich aus dem Doom-/Death-Metal stammende Gothic Metal-Band aus Yorkshire, Vereinigtes Königreich, die in den frühen 1990er Jahren Einfluss auf die Entwicklung des Heavy Metal ausübte. Das epische Gedicht Paradise Lost des englischen Dichters John Milton gab der Band ihren Namen.
