Oldfields Eltern sind Maureen und Raymond Oldfield. Seine Schwester Sally und sein Bruder Terry haben auf mehreren seiner Alben mitgewirkt. Sally Oldfield hat mehrere eigene Alben herausgebracht und hatte z. B. mit dem Titel Mirrors einen kommerziellen Erfolg.

Mike Francis (* 26. April 1961 in Florenz; † 30. Januar 2009 in Rom; geboren als Francesco Puccioni) war ein italienischer Sänger und Komponist.
Francis bildete seine erste Band im Alter von 14 Jahren mit Klassenkameraden in Rom. Bekannt wurde er 1982 mit dem Disco-Hit Survivor.
Francis starb im Alter von 47 Jahren an Lungenkrebs. .
