From its icy opening tones, something at once familiar and unsettling rises from this sound; the stark, doom-laden ambience of Juv's desolate sonic landscapes transport the listener to an altogether darker world. Hailing from Oslo, Norway, the duo of Are Mokkelbost and Marius Von Der Fehr recorded these tracks in Norway between 1996 and 1998. Soon after however, their friendship abruptly ended and the planned Juv album was never finished. Im Jahre 1995 veröffentlichte er das Album "Being Myself".
Nach einen Zusamentreffen mit "Suga Slim" und seinem Bruder Brian "Baby" Williams, die beide Inhaber des Labels Cash Money Records sind, veröffentlichte Juvenile das Album Solja Rags. Dieses verkaufte sich allein im Dirty South 200.000-mal und machte sowohl Cash Money Records als auch Juvenile berühmt.
Da Juvenile seine Wurzeln nicht vergaß, veröffentlichte er mit seiner Crew, den Hot Boys, das Album "Get It How U Live". Zu den Hot Boys gehörten ebenfalls Lil' Wayne, B.G....
