NOVA-SPES fount in 1999 by the germans Matthias Hübner (prod., vox), Steffen Pöhler (keys) and André Richter (keys). Matthias and Steffen both worked in a scientific research project of the university of applied science in Köthen/germany. In the year 2000 the band released their first CD "Opfer". In this time the music of NOVA-SPES was really dark and they are looked for an own style. So Matthias (the songwriter) tried very different musicstyles.
