Knocker is a an American post rock experimental project. The creative outlet of singer/songwriter David Roberts (Firm Stools, Calico Jane). Much of the music is recorded with a Nagra mono reel to reel tape recorder, documenting an orchestra of found sounds and a chorus of tortured voices. Recorded on a hundred year old farm in near complete isolation, many of the sonic means are found in the tool shed or barn. Befitting the environment, elements are often slowed to a crawl to reveal hidden nuance. Like gutting a fish, it becomes more open and carnal as creeping rhythms become disjointed...
Thrash/groove metal band from Cranves-Sales in the Rhône-Alpes area of France, it was formed in the early 90's by guitar player Bertrand Blanchet and drummer Xavier Blanchet. Later rejoined by Philippe Blet on bass and Dave N'Guyen on vocals, this lineup recorded a demo tape called "From Zero..." in 1994 as well as a Maxi-CD titled "Masses In The Rhythm" in 1995. After a few lineup changes, the band recorded two full-length albums, "'Songs Of Nothing" in 2004 and "3" in 2006. Most members have also been seen later in a side-project under the "Lysol" moniker. .
Tomasso Marra (Tommyknocker) was born in Italy on january the 20th 1977. Tommyknocker starts his career in 1994 when he begins performing in some 'illegal' parties which are organized in Rome. From '95 to '97 he collaborates with the “Virus staff” of Freddy K, and he is Resident Dj of a few discotheques like "06" and after "Oxygen" (the first hardcore club of Rome).
