Fanfara Tirana is an absolute novelty among Balkan brass bands. In comparison with traditional Slav brass bands this one is different and new thanks to the well articulate music language which is essentially based on a very enthralling melodic path with the support of other instruments. Melody is committed to the clarinet, sax-alto, trumpet and sax tenor expressing their stile of pure improvisation defined as "kaba" (typical of music from South Albania) and "gazel" (typical of music from Tirana and neighburing villages). Tirania is a Melodic Death Metal band from Croatia. The band has a long history. It was formally founded by Danijel Puškarić (vocals and guitar) in 2003. in Zaprešić, a small town near Zagreb. After that there was a lot of changes, ups and downs, so the band started with the real work in 2011. and is now actively working in Zagreb in a completely new set (except the founder). Ensemble Tirana is an Albanian group performing traditional music and dance. Founded in Tirana in 1978, their repertoire consists mainly of songs, dances, and instrrumental music from the region around Albania's capital, but they also perform pieces from the other regions of Albania and neighboring Kosovo. The ensemble's live performances demonstrate a variety of folk costumes from various areas, as well as numerous characteristic musical instruments. .
