Belanova is a Mexican electropop band formed by Denisse Guerrero (voice) originally from Los Mochis, Sinaloa (Mexico), Edgar Huerta (programming and keyboards) and Ricardo "Richie" Arreola (bass and guitar), all from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The band was formed in 2000. Their first album "Cocktail" was released in 2003. The first single was called "Tus ojos" and had massive airplay on TV, being used on a Mitsubishi TV spot. The Casanovas were originally formed in 1999 with all three original members hailing from Melbourne, Australia. The Casanovas was the brainchild of brothers, Tommy and Patrick Boyce and original bassist, Jimmy Lewis.
