(1)Absinthe were formed from the ashes of the AZ band Groundwork. They released one 7" and one 10" in the mid 90's (2) a rock/roots side/slash solo project by Sam Llanas formerly of The BoDeans which features Violent Femmes drummer Guy Hoffman and Sugarfoot guitarist Jim Eannelli .

Formed in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, USA, Absinthe Blind was composed of guitarist/vocalist Adam Fein, guitarist/keyboardist Tristan Wraight, bassist Mike Zolfo, and drummer Seth Fein. Unsurprisingly, considering that Wraight spent much of his childhood in England, the band's neo-psychedelic pop is drawn from mostly British sources, such as Radiohead, the Verve, the Stone Roses, and My Bloody Valentine, as well as Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd. .

Aabsinthe is a progressive death metal from Saint-Etienne, France. The band was formed in 2001 by founding members Hugo De Villoutreys, Sylvain Navarro and Pierre Arnoux.
