Bergraven turns the traditional blast-and-flay aesthetic of "frost bitten grimness" on its ear and comes at you with sweeping riff dirges, winding cinematic passages, melodic guitar interludes, tortured-yet-vaguely authoritarian and Germanic vocal overtones and ambient pedal steel excursions. Formed in 2002 by the single member of Bergraven, Pär Gustafsson. The discography so far has consisted of two demos, two full-length albums, and a third LP is planned for release in 2009 on Hydra Head Records. .
Primitive Graven Image was formed in 2006 in Buckinghamshire, UK by guitarists and brothers Rob and Luke Lehane aka Ljosalfur and Dokkalfur, out of a love for the traditional black metal style. Immortal, Darkthrone and Emperor were the flavour of the day and a 6 track demo of spontaneous, infectious blackness was swiftly kicked into shape.

Gravenhurst was a project by singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nick Talbot (14 May 1977 – 2 December 2014), from Bristol, England, signed to Warp Records.
Talbot began playing solo, but from 1999 Gravenhurst toured extensively as a band. Gravenhurst's first full-band line up featured Dave Collingwood on drums, who also plays with Azalea City Penis Club, and bassist Paul Nash. Nash soon left to concentrate on his own musical project North Sea Navigator, and was replaced by Huw Cooksley. Later, Robin Allender, and Alex Wilkins joined on bass and guitar respectively.

Wongraven is a medieval ambient solo project from Oslo, Norway, founded in 1994 by Satyricon frontman Sigurd 'Satyr' Wongraven.
The only album released so far, "Fjelltronen", was published in 1995. It consists of keyboard-based music with a medieval atmosphere. Satyr plays most of the instruments himself, as well as the vocals. The keyboards and grand piano are played by Ihsahn (vocalist of Emperor), and the percussion by Hans K.K. Sørensen.
