Jesus Culture began in the summer of 1999, when the youth group at Bethel Church in Redding, California, led by Banning Liebscher, launched the first Jesus Culture conference.
During this time they began leading worship at Jesus Culture conferences both nationally and internationally and thus the Jesus Culture band was formed.
The band consists of Kim Walker-Smith (Vocals) and Chris Quilala (Vocals and Guitar) as worship leaders along with Jeffrey Kunde (Lead Guitar), Brandon Aaronson (Bass), Ian McIntosh (Keys) and Josh Fisher (Drums).
The ministry has been called "one of the most significant Christian movements in post-war America".

Old Funeral formed in 1989 with members who later/already started infamous black metal bands such as Immortal and Burzum, and dissolved by 1992. This band is also one of the 1st bands to form in the Norwegian extreme metal scene. Among their influences were Carcass (UK) and Morbid Angel (US). Most of the members went on to form Amputation - the band that later became Immortal.

Cultura Profética is a Puerto Rican reggae roots band. Formed in 1996, they stand out as one of the most influential bands in Latin America, touring extensively in the biggest venues of the continent. This band with eight albums independently released, is composed of 12 musicians that achieve an excellent and very sticky musical fusion, with a base headed by a rhythm of traditional roots reggae mixed with harmonies of salsa, jazz, electronica, trip hop, ska, and afro-caribbean rhythms, amongst others. Cultus Ferox, which in Latin means "Savage way of life", plays medieval-style music with partly original, copied, and even manufactured instruments such as medieval bagpipe, Schalmeien, drums and the most diverse Rammer. The percussion-instrumental style of this group is shaped by the predominantly sound-strong bagpipes, which adds mysticism to the sound. Traditional music from the Middle Ages is played, but they also play their own music.
First their music was paganistic, with lyrics of the Germanic religion, but later they turned more and more to real medieval sound and even put e-guitars and electronic in their music. .
