As Before Today they released their first album in 2004 for Equal Vision Records and toured until finally the band fell to pieces when Joe Tancil (guitar) and Mitch Ballatore (bass) quit the band leaving Vic and Mike Fuentes to continue on their own, forming a new project in 2006 known as Pierce the Veil. .
