Paul Leonard-Morgan is a BAFTA-winning, Ivor Novello-nominated composer, who is rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after film composers in the UK, and beyond. Fusing strings with electronica, his unique cinematic style has seen him in high demand, both as a producer/arranger for bands, and as a soundtrack composer for film and television.
Paul won a BAFTA award for his first film score, for the movie Pineapple. He was nominated for a BAFTA and an Ivor Novello award for his score to the ITV drama Fallen. He composed the scores for series 5-10 of the long-running BBC spy drama Spooks.
In 2008 he was honoured by the US Olympic Committee when chosen to compose the official US Olympic Team Anthem (previously scored by John Williams).
Leonard-Morgan's first album, Filmtales, was released to critical acclaim in 2008, featuring collaborations with Isobel Campbell, Richard Colburn (Belle and Sebastian), Steve Mason (Beta Band) and Jenna Gibbons (Shapeshifters). It also features the US Olympic Anthem, Glory of Pursuit.
In the same year, Paul provided the orchestral soundtrack for the epic BBC series A History of Scotland.
Most recently, he composed the soundtrack for the Hollywood box office smash Limitless, starring Bradley Cooper.
