Ray Kennedy (born May 13, 1954 in Buffalo, New York[1]) is an American country music artist. He has recorded three studio albums: one on Columbia Records and two on Atlantic Records. His two Atlantic albums produced a total of four singles on the Hot Country Songs charts, with 1991's "What a Way to Go" being his only top 40 country hit, peaking at No. 10.

Joyce "Baby Jean" Kennedy was born in Anguilla, MS, in 1948, and raised in Chicago. It's unclear how Andre Williams became her early mentor, but he produced nearly all her early sides on Ran Dee, Fontana, and Blue Rock Records.
