DaSt is an acronym for producer Daniel Stopka from the Czech Republic, who makes instrumental metal music. His gear is his own computer. Beside of that, he plays drums at a local death-grind band Histos. .

ENDAST, translated from Icelandic to mean enduring, has become more than just a name for the Montreal based metal band, but rather an apt description of what they have come to embody. The Dastan Ensemble is an Iranian group, founded in 1991, which plays both its own compositions and the work of others. It is made up of: Hamid Motebassem. (tar and setar), Pejman Hadadi (percussion), Saeed Farajpouri (kamanche), Behnam Samani (percussion), and Hossein Behroozinia (barbat). The Ensemble won the title “Musical Shock“ in Le Monde, and received the 2003 Best Music of the Year Award from the French Ministry of Culture. .
