Samson 1977 yılında gitarist ve vokal Paul Samson tarafından kurulmuş bir NWOBHM grubudur.Grup daha çok sonradan Iron Maiden vokalisti olan ve grupta olduğu sürede Bruce Bruce lakabını kullanan Bruce Dickinson ile çıkarılan iki albüm ve Thunderstick lakaplı sahnede metal bir kafes içerisinde çalan ve sürekli deri bir maske giyen davulcu Barry Graham ile tanınmaktadır.Yine bir başka eski Iron Maiden üyesi davulcu Clive Burr'de Iron Maiden'da çalmaya başlamadan önce Samson'da çalmaktaydı.Grup Paul Samson'ın 9 Ağustos 2002 tarihinde kanserden ölmesinin ardından dağılmıştır.

Mezzerschmitt is a Norwegian black metal band. It was formed in 2000 by Jan Axel Blomberg and Rune Erickson, both members of Mayhem and Lars Sørensen from Red Harvest. They intended to create an industrial metal band but their sound shifted toward black metal but still incorporated industrial elements. They have released only one EP so far, Weltherschaft.
