Forming in 2000 in Melbourne, Australia, Love Outside Andromeda was a guitar-based pop/rock band. The band enjoyed regular airplay on Australia's youth radio network, Triple J. Originally known solely as "Andromeda", the band officially changed their name to "Love Outside Andromeda" to avoid confusion with Swedish prog-metal outfit, Andromeda.
