he Morkos Ensemble was founded by Kamâl Morkos, a musician trained in classical Arabic music. Scholarly Arabic music ensembles generally comprise a voice accompanied by few instruments. It is a music in which improvisation plays an important role. The singer must know a wide repertoire of songs upon which to base his or her improvisation. The inspiration of the singer is dependent upon the synergy happening between the musicians and the audience during the performance. Morka were a Greek psychedelic/progressive rock band, active in the 1970s. Οι Morka αποτελούσαν μια συμπαθέστατη παρουσία στην ελληνική rock σκηνή των αρχών της δεκαετίας του '70. Totalt Jävla Mörker is a political Swedish crust/hardcore punk band, formed in Skellefteå, Sweden in 1996.
