Avustralyalı rock grubu INXS, 1977 yılında kuruldu. Bar ve publarda sahneye çıkan grubun ilk ismi ‘The Farriss Brothers’ken, 1980 tarihli ilk albümleri “INXS”i yayınlamadan hemen önce grup albümle aynı ismi aldı. Grubun ikinci albümü “Underneath the Colours”, Avustralya’da büyük ilgiyle karşılandı.
1983 tarihli üçüncü albüm “Shabooh Shoobah”, grubun Avrupa ve ABD’de tanınmasını sağladı. Amerika listelerinde ilk 50’ye giren INXS, 1984 yılında dördüncü albüm “The Swing” ile tüm dünyada daha da ünledi ve “Original Sin” adlı single uluslararası listelerde bir numaraya ulaşamasa da büyük başarı kazandı. 1985 tarihli “Listen Like Thieves” eleştirmenlerce çok beğenildi ve grubun ABD’de daha da tanınmasını sağladı....
