Serafin is two artists: 1- is a London based group formed from the ashes of Stony Sleep, consisting of Darryn Harkness (Guitar, Keys, Vocals), Ronny Growler (drums) Ben Ellis (bass), Ben Fox Smith (guitar, Vocals) and then later with Christian Smith (drums, vocals) and JoJo Hoppe (Bass), The exciting mixture of raw alternative rock with grungy elements really shows best in their highly energetic live shows. In 2007 Serafina released a 7" single and an album entitled Cheap Demo Bad Science on Static Caravan records. Some were recorded and produced in collaboration with Mike Lindsay of folktronica band Tunng, some tracks were recorded with Kristian Robinson aka Capitol K. The album opens with a cover version of Brian Eno's "By This River" but all other songs are her own. In 2010 'change is good change is good' was released, again on Static Caravan. Serafín Zubiri (born Roberto Serafín Lizoain Vidondo on April 20, 1964 in Pamplona, Spain) is a singer, composer and piano player. Zubiri is a blind singer and pianist who has represented Spain twice in the Eurovision festival. He was the vocalist for the group Equus until 1987.
