Assorted Heap was a Thrash metal band from Germany.They formed in 1987 by Dirk Schiemann (Vocals), Gunter Groen (Guitar), Klaus Kessemeier (Guitar, also of BK 49), Lord Joachim Meyer (Bass , also of BK 49) and Thomas Marter (Drums, also ofBK 49).They released two albums in the early 1990's called "The Experience of Horror" in 1991 and "Mindwaves" in 1992, they departed shortly after that, with three members of the four founding a band called BK 49. .
Sorten Muld is a Danish electro-folk band, formed in 1995. They have won two Danish Grammys for Mark II. The English translation of Sorten Muld is Dark Soil. Their music can be characterized by elegantly composed rhythms, floating sound of typical folk-instruments like bagpipes, flutes and violins, in an electronica-composition that supports the dramatic lyrics. Pinkerton's Assorted Colours were a mid-1960s pop band from England. Formed in Rugby, Warwickshire as 'The Liberators', they became Pinkerton's Assorted Colours in 1965, and scored a Top 10 hit with their first single release, "Mirror, Mirror" written and sung by bandmember Tony Newman.
