Antigonė is a band formed in Kaunas, Lithuania, in 2000. By then the band's line-up consisted of four members: Milda (guitar), Dalia (bass guitar), Agnė (synthesizer, vocal), Rūta (vocal) and was meant to be a female-only band, although the drums were often played by male musicians. The band made a successful debut in 2002 at "Naujas Kraujas" (New Blood) festival where they had won the first place. The audience was swept along with the honest synthesis of symphonic and pagan metal, distorted female vocal duos and their charmingly occult appearance. Türk rock, metal grubu. Haziran 2007'de liseden beri beraber müzik ile uğraşan Eren Erdöl(davul) ve Burak Kocaman(solo gitar)ile üniversitede bireysel olarak elektro gitar ile uğraşan Murat Kocaman(ritim gitar/vokal) tarafından Samsun'da kurulmuştur. Kurulduktan sonra ilk üç ayını Samsun'da çalışarak geçiren Tigon bu dönem içinde yedi şarkı bestelemiştir. Besteleri solo ve rif ağırlıklı olan grubun, tarzında yerli ve yabancı hard rock, trash metal gruplarının etkisi açıkça görülmektedir. Antigone Rising is an all-female New York City based rock band. Their music is influenced by classic rock from the 1970s such as The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, mixed with pop overtones and at times folk and country elements.
