Ascension of the Watchers is a band that was started by Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory, G//Z/R) and John Bechdel (Ministry, Fear Factory, Killing Joke, Prong, Murder, Inc.) in 2001. They wrote and recorded their first release, Iconoclast at Bechdel's home in rural Pennsylvania, US. Iconoclast was originally released on 12" Vinyl Record but has since been released on CD. Emerged in the year 1999 with the CD Installation that was released in May 1999 . Installation is considered the artists finest work; exploring dark, harsh ambient textures divided into a dark (A) side and a bright (B) side.
