The Norwegian girlband Supervixen has created great music for several years. Even though Supervixen recorded their first demo in 2001, their first full lenght album, "Diamond Dust", was not released until August 2006 by the now defunct label Grammar Records. The album was produced by Marcus Forsgren from The Lionheart Brothers, and was recorded at an old school house at the abandoned countryside-suburb Rognes, an hour south of Trondheim (the home of ski queen Marit Bjørgen).

Supervixen is known for great live shows and has supported the famous rock band Gluecifer and toured Norway, Germany, Holland and Belgium. Even though they are a band consisting of girls, the former drummer of The Lionheart Brothers, Fred Strand, does live percussion as often as possible - and when drummer Synnøve Engevik is unable to play live, the feminine boy drummer steps in and rule the drumkit.

Supervixen is also the most educated band in Norway: Synnøve Engevik (drums) has a master in art, and work at Ringve Museum, Veronica Skikstein (bass) works as a psychologist, Jannike Kaasbøll is currently working on a Ph.D in child psychology and Stina Moltu (vocals) has a BA in jazz vocals from the Music Conservatory in Trondheim.

The Supervixen headquarter is in Trondheim, Norway, but singer Stina Moltu is currently living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Stina is now focusing on her career as a musician, playing with the jazz project Stjern - and last, but not least; her main project Stina Stjern.

Supervixen heads for a tour in Germany November 2008. .
