Dayroom was an alternative rock band from Athens GA that played throughout the 1990's.

With a relentless tour schedule, they performed over 200 shows a year for over 8 years.

The band spent most of its time in the southeast and midwest as well as a few jaunts to the northeast and a month long stint in Europe playing a residency at the legendary rock club "Chesterfields" in Paris and Madrid.

The band released 3 albums through the course of their career. Perpetual Smile was their debut album in 1994, followed by 1997's Contagious, which featured their regional radio hit "Cheap Wine" and was voted local Album of the Year by Atlanta's alternative radio station, 99x. The band's last album "Better Days" received more critical success prior to the band's dissolution in February of 2000.

Comprised of Michael Winger (vocals, guitar), James Riddle (Keyboards, Vocals), Ryan Kelly (Bass, Vocals) and Brad Zimmerman (drums). The band played a short series of reunion shows in 2001. .
