Fences is the most recent project from Christopher Mansfield. The Berklee trained and Brockton, Ma-native teamed up with producer Sara Quin (Tegan and Sara) to create a stunning 10 song, self-titled LP that was released in September 2010. About Fences, Spin Magazine said, "Fences mastermind Chris Mansfield looks like he could be a roadie for New Jersey hardcore band Thursday, but don't be fooled. It's his acoustic guitar and quiet stories of emotional torment that shine..." .

FENCE OF DEFENSE was formed in 1985 and began performing publicly in 1987. The band consists of three people: Masatoshi Nishimura (vocals, bass, keyboards), Wataru Yamada (drums), and Kenji Kitajima (guitar). Each had previously worked separately as session musicians. When they began playing the hard rock which made full use of electronics, it had a big influence on the music scene of Japan, making them pioneers, somewhat, of the digital hard rock sound throughout Japan. .

There are at least two artists with the name D-Fence: 1.- D-Fence is a Dutch Hardcore/Gabber producer signed with Neophyte Records. 2.- D-Fence is a serbian hip-hop band. It hails from southeastern Serbia. Their lyrics are about hard life in these times and little money. .
