Giulietta Simionato (12 May 1910 – 5 May 2010) was an Italian mezzo-soprano. Her career spanned the period from the 1930s until her retirement in 1966. Brother Simion was the lead singer of the first Christian rock band of Brazil, called Katsbarnea, precursor of the gospel musical movement. He composed melodies to the letters written by Estevam Hernandes, founder of Renascer Church, such as "Extra, extra", "Revolução", "Gênesis", among others.
