With more than 5 years of shows and two releases under their belt, Judah Johnson still feel like they're starting from scratch. In 2000, singer/guitarist and songwriter Daniel Johnson formed Judah Johnson with a strong desire to attempt to approach rock as if it had no history. After home-recording and issuing a self-titled EP as the first release on Flameshovel [2001], the band soon experienced the familiar throes of touring and member changes on their way to releasing their debut full-length Kisses and Interrogation [Flameshovel 2003]. Dub Judah is a very well respected vocalist, musician, live performer and producer who has released his own top roots music on his Dub Jockey label. He also works producing singing and playing with other established artists such as Norman Grant of the Twinkle Brothers with whom he sometimes tours worldwide. He does occasional live shows with his own band and is continually working in his own and different studios where he is in great demand as a producer. Almighty Jah, Alpha and Omega's fifth album, features Dub Judah's distinctive vocals on rhythms from A&O's previous LP Watch And Pray....

1) Lion of Judah are a Washington, D.C. based hardcore band on Youngblood Records(Powered Records in Europe). The new "Universal Peace" LP is their debut full-length consisting of eleven songs recorded by Don Zientara(Fugazi, Bad Brains, Minor Threat) at Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, VA. This new LP follows a busy first year in which the band released the "Soul Power" e.p. on Lockin' Out Records and appeared on the "Generations" compilation on Revelation Records. Tribe of Judah is Gary Cherone's post-Van Halen band featuring several former members of Extreme. An eponymous EP was released in 2001 and a full-length album was released in late 2002. Tribe of Judah is different from Cherone's other work as it features a more Industrial/Electronic sound. .
