ZOND are a maximum volume, minimalist soundrock group based in Melbourne, Australia. They are named after a member of the group's childhood dog and/or a Hi-God People track and/or satellite of the USSR. Their live shows and recordings vary from screaming punk car crash to dark ambient alloy radiation field hum: all that can be known in advance is the intensity of the performance. Experimental post-rock band heavily influenced by psychedelic freak out and ambient. They started out as band in August 2004 and since December 2006 they are a three piece with the following musicians: Michel van Henten (Van Aarde) on guitar, Bart Zonderland (Van Aarde, Super Judas) on drums and Sietse van Erve (Orphax) on laptop, vocals and random sounds. On November 25th, 2007 their first cd album "Oidipus: Motherfucker" has been released, which is available through their website. Zonderhoof are based in South Wales. Their music is mostly instrumental and has been described as hybrid of sludge, doom metal and stoner rock. Their latest album 'Hakken!' was released by Undergroove Records in September 2011 and was also included as a free CD with issue #214 of Terrorizer magazine in the UK. They first released their 3 track demo in 2006 which led to the release of their debut EP/Mini album 'Zonderhoof' on Sound Devastation Records in 2007. Kelten zonder Grenzen (Dutch for "Celts without frontiers") are a folk band from the Netherlands. They started out as a two-girl act, supporting their storytelling theatre with Harp and Hurdy Gurdy. With the addition of Renske later on, the three ladies started making Balfolk music. Though Balfolk music is initially intended for dancing, the ladies consider dancing only an option. Their melodic tunes are also ideal for listening or meditating to, or experiencing while enjoying a beverage.
