Young the Giant are an American alternative rock band who formed in Irvine, California in 2004. The band consists of Sameer Gadhia (vocals, percussion), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Payam Doostzadeh (bass) and François Comtois (drums). The band's name is purposefully nonsensical; Gadhia explained it as a "leftfield idea" meant to evoke curiosity.
The band released their debut self-titled album, Young the Giant, on 25 January 2011, which was preceded by a digital-only release in October 2010. The first single, "My Body," reached #5 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, and a second single, "Cough Syrup," reached #3 on...
There is more than one artist with this name.
1. legendary obscure ambient/experimental "krautrock" duo of the early 80's in similar realms to Cluster and Harmonia. Buschi B. Buchweitz & Mike Bohrmann made 3 albums under this name ( Circles [1983] / More Circles [1984] / The Third Cycle [1987] ) on own independent label Einhorn Music as well as their parallel project D.O.C. aka Das Organisierte Chaos.
2. Circles - Australian metallers mixing up cutting edge production techniques with some altogether killer guitar work, CIRCLES instantly stand out from the Metal-by-numbers crowd with their, quite frankly, sublime song-craft and...
At least two band with the name In Circles exist:
1) A post-hardcore band from Richmond, VA (http://incircles.bandcamp.com/)
2) A hardcore/punk band from Cologne/Jülich (Germany)

Sleeping Giant represent a great and terrible day when all living things will return to dust; and their sound is as formidable as one might suspect the apocalypse should be. Sleeping Giant charged onto the Redlands, CA scene in 2006 with their bold and powerful live show, where in addition to being entranced by ominous guitars, crowds are met with burning passion from articulate front man Thom Green. The sincerity behind the words that pour out from Greens mouth is deeply rooted in the bands unwavering love for The Lord.
Sleeping Giant are resolute in their goal to reach as...
The Jungle Giants is an Australian four-piece band that formed in 2011 in Brisbane, Queensland. The band consists of Sam Hales on Vocals/Guitar, Cesira Aitken on Lead Guitar, Andrew Dooris on Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals and Keelan Bijker - Drums/Trombone.
Their live show makes a bit more sense of their name. With their rhythmic layering and huge indie pop riffs, it’s hard to imagine them performing under any other name.
‘The Jungle Giants’ is the brain child of lead singer Sam Hales who originally arranged the band as a solo project, but soon found that there was more to the group....
