One is a Japanese rock band formed in 1996, previously called Transtic Nerve and reformed under that name in 2007 and now (since 2010) known as defspiral. Underneath the Gun was a deathcore band from Corona, California, while formed they had three records to their name: "You Prepare the Bodies, I'll Prepare the Ice" and "The Awakening." The latter being a full length LP released on This City is Burning Records which contained multiple tracks from their first EP, and the previous being an independently released CD. They broke onto the international scene with Slit/Fill Me In, released on BC Presents, but had a following in New Zealand before that, having released some 12" singles on local labels and a full album (on CD) released in that same year.
