NMB48 (or Namba48) is a all-female Japanese theater and idol group produced by Akimoto Yasushi. It perform regularly in the NMB48 Theater in Namba, Osaka. The group belongs to Kyoraku Yoshimoto Holdings Co., Ltd., a joint corporation of Yoshimoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Kyoraku Sangyo Co., Ltd. On 10 July 2010, AKB48 first announced that they will be forming a second sister national group and that this new group will be based in Namba, Japan. Born in Osaka, Japan in the December of 1975; MINMI (ミンミ) started her musical career around 1996 by performing at ruba dub showcases and hip hop events at the clubs in Osaka, and also started to make her original tracks around this period. Soon after, MINMI's name was well known in the club market, through her live performances in the club events, and she participated in the works of the label of the Japanese Big Sound like Red Spider and Mighty Jam Rock.
