Tornado Tatsumaki (トルネード竜巻) was a Japanese band formed by students of Keio University in Tokyo in 1998. The members were Makiko Naka (名嘉真祈子, born February 1, 1980; vocals), Jun'ichi Soga (曽我淳一, born May 23, 1976; keyboards), Daisuke Futaki (二木大介, born January 5, 1978; guitars), and Ryûsuke Kakizawa (柿澤龍介, born July 21, 1976; drums/percussion). They combined various musical styles such as shoegaze, complex rhythms, jazzy bassline and electronic keyboard into high-quality pop music.
