Phineas is the name of more than one artist: 1) acoustic emo 2) a band formed in Doylestown PA. They were together a couple years before breaking up in spring 2007. Most of the members reformed a new band called I Am Alaska. 3)Phineas from Phineas and Ferb .

Newborn was a hardcore band from Budapest, Hungary. The original lineup included Adam Fellegi on drums, Zoltan Jakab on vocals, Tibor Szalkai on the guitar, Mate Acs with the bass, and Szabolcs Nemeth on the other guitar from 1999 to 2000. Phineas and Ferb is a Disney Channel cartoon series that centers on two step-brothers and their adventures in their backyard during summer vacation. The show had four sneak peeks of the series, on August 17, 2007, after High School Musical 2 on September 28, 2007, after Disney Channel's premiere of Sky High, and another on November 23, 2007 after High School Musical Pop-Up Edition. The series premiered worldwide on February 1, 2008. It is also the first DCOS to premiere simultaneously worldwide. The shows premiere is being marketed as Phineas and Ferb-ruary. .

Phineas Newborn, Jr. (December 14, 1931 – May 26, 1989) was an American jazz pianist, whose principal influences were Art Tatum, Oscar Peterson, and Bud Powell. Newborn came from a musical family: his father, Phineas Newborn, Sr., was a blues musician and his younger brother, Calvin, a jazz guitarist.
