Uranian is a progressive rock / progressive metal band from Argentina.

The recent debut of Uranian is a wonderful combination of complex sounds, tax at the best symphonic progressive tradition, plus the power of modern sound, that doesn't sacrifice their own identity. And the album have virtuosity, is symphonic, and taste and natives sounds living in an original amalgam that while not new, each time it appears it does in a particular way that defines each band and gives it its own character: while one moment they may conjure shades of progressive metal, the next passage will take the listener into almost symphonic territory, and then start a argentinian folk passage. Virtuosity, melodies and powerful a lot.

Their debut album called "La ciudad de los sueños" (2011)

Besides the obvious quality of their music, both in terms of composition and execution, but in any case, "La ciudad de los sueños" is one of the finest instrumental prog albums released in the past couple of years or so. And celebrate the first work of this band that not only promises, and has a prominent future.
