Bio:
Liam Gaughan's musical journey began in the Christmas of 2002 when he received his first Electric Bass and experienced his first encounter with music. He quickly mastered the instrument gaining a Grade 8 certificate, Grade 5 Music Theory and A Levels in Music and Music Technology less than 2 years later. Following on from that, Liam took the highly respected B.Mus degree at Newcastle College, graduating with a first class honours after studying with some of the best local musicians such as James Birkett, Rod Sinclair, Gerry Richardson, and Gary Linsley to name just a few. The experience has made him a mature performer with a solid grasp of all Jazz and Popular styles of music.
Aside from performance, Liam is also an experienced Audio Engineer and Producer with a stylistically wide portfolio and extensive Pro Tools knowledge. He has mixed and produced various full-length projects in many genres including Metal, Funk, Electronica and Folk and is also comfortable producing to any briefs. .
